Easy Recipes for Backyard BBQ Pit

Summers are the best time to hold parties in your backyard. You can entertain your family or visitors by making delicious meals through your backyard BBQ pit. If you are planning on having some backyard BBQ, below are easy recipes to guide you.

1.Smoky BBQ chicken

The recipe takes about 45 minutes for both preparations and cooking.

Ingredients
• Boneless chicken thighs and breasts
• BBQ sauce
• Cilantro

Directions

• Marinate the chicken with some BBQ sauce
• Cover and refrigerate for one hour
• Put the chicken in a grilling sheet
• Grill the chicken on medium heat
• Make sure the chicken is well grilled on both sides by flipping it halfway through.
• After 20 minutes, the chicken is ready
• Serve with more BBQ sauce and cilantro

2.Grilled corn on the cob

Ingredients

• About five ears of corn
• Black pepper
• Salt
• Butter

Directions

• Prepare the grill on medium heat
• Mix the salt, butter, and pepper in a bowl
• Pull back some of the husks from the corn leaving some for coverage to avoid direct exposure
• Remove all the silk in the corn
• Place the corn on the grill
• Turn the corn occasionally until it’s cooked through
• Transfer the corn to a platter, pull back the husks
• Serve with the butter, mixed with salt and pepper

3.Grilled ribs

Ingredients

• Pork ribs
• BBQ sauce
• One tablespoon of salt

Directions

• Marinate the pork ribs with the BBQ sauce and salt
• Refrigerate for at least one hour
• Wrap the ribs in a heavy duty foil
• When they are half way cooked, turn them to make sure that all sides are evenly grilled
• Grill under a medium heat
• Once they are fully grilled, remove them from the grill and the foil and place them on a big platter
• Cover the grilled ribs with the remaining BBQ sauce and serve
